  • A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Ladies

    A. Lange & Söhne’s Saxonia derives from the homeland of the company—Saxony, an independent state located in the heart of Germany. As one of the oldest line of A. Lange & Söhne, the subtlety and heritage of this watch presents a perfect blend of elegance and simplicity. The shape of this watch is classic and sleek, while the overall aesthetic of the collection “echoes the prosperity of the Saxony region during the renowned Baroque period.”

The Saxonia has been an iconic emblem of A. Lange & Söhne since it made its first debut in 1994. This year, A. Lange & Söhne followed the tradition of Saxonia and adds subtle changes to take this collection to the next logical step in their evolution. With its simple and elegant design, the new Saxonia (Ref. 219.043 and 219.047) has 35mm 18K rose gold or white gold case with pink gold or rhodium gold hands and markers; and a small seconds dial with stop seconds at 6 o’clock position on the white mother of pearl dial. Stop seconds is a complication that allows the timepiece to be set precisely to the second. The watch is powered by A. Lange & Söhne’s manufacture caliber L941.1 which offers mechanical manual-winding movement with impressive 45 hours power reserve when it’s fully wound. The hand stitched white alligator strap matches with the dial and adds elegancy to the watch.

  • Panerai 42mm Submersible

In 1949 Panerai introduced a new self-luminous substance called Luminor which not only safer than radium-based Radiomir but also more luminous. The evolution from Radiomir to Luminor was completed in the fifties with the invention of the signature crown-protecting device which was patented in Italy in 1955. The patent application for a “Tight Seal Device” was filed by Giuseppe and Maria Giuseppe Panerai. 1993 is a milestone in the history of Panerai, because the brand presented its most iconic Luminor collection to the public. Before then, Panerai watches had only been available to military forces. In 1995, a popular actor Sylvester Stallone noticed Panerai watch and liked it so much that he requested for a special edition to be used during the shooting of the underwater scenes in the movie Daylight. Therefore, Panerai produced the Luminor Submersible, featuring a black dial with small seconds at 9 o’clock and two designations: Luminor Submersible at 12 o’clock and Sly tech (Sly is short for Slyvester) Panerai at 6 o’clock. Later, Stallone requested a new edition with white dial named Daylight. All these watches have the actor’s signature engraved on the watch back.

  • Chopard Happy Ocean

Chopard first introduced the Happy Diamond in 1993, and since then, it has been the most popular ladies watch of Chopard. The floating diamonds that can move freely in the crystal has become the signature of Chopard. They didn’t stop bringing new ideas to the collection when the elegant look has already captured most ladies’ hearts. They integrate the Happy Diamond’s main characteristics to a sporty theme, and that becomes the latest chic-as-you-like women’s watch – Chopard Happy Ocean. It borrows some features of diving watches but are intended more for general use that matches with casual outfits, rather than just specifically for diving. The contrasting color of the watch and the moving diamonds in the sapphire crystal adds fun to the watch. Compare to regular tool watches, it really catches your eyes when you first see it, and it’s much more fashionable than regular diving watches.

This year, Chopard reinvigorates the iconic Happy Sport collection with the new Happy Ocean. With a 40mm stainless steel case, the watch has a deep blue dial that brings to mind the ocean depths, while the five moving diamonds are like oxygen bubbles in the ocean. The unidirectional rotating bezel with two-tone blue-turquoise or blue-raspberry coloring is inspired by azure blue shades and brightly colored corals. The hour-markers and hour hands with SuperLuminova creates jewels of light, green-emitting on the minute hand and bezel reference dot, and blue-emitting for the hour hand and hour markers. The straps are either in turquoise or raspberry rubber that is not only sand/waterproof, but also matches with the watch case. A navy blue NATO strap is also provided with each watch. The caseback has a wave motif that echoes back to the collection name. Enjoy the nautical adventure with Happy Ocean.

  • Bulgari B.Zero1 Design Legend

Since B.Zero1 was first introduced in 1999, the collection has always been a timeless icon of Bvlgari. It broke the concept of traditional jewelry design of having diamonds or gemstones in the center with thin bands, and instead, emphasized more on the shape.  The original B.Zero1 ring was modelled after “Emperor Vespian’s architectural statement of power, the Colloseum.” The idea was to empower through jewelry that was unconventional and chic. It is not the kind of piece that stays inside the vault and is only taken out for special occasions. It is to be worn for any style in any occasion. Breaking the rules of conventional jewelries, with the “gas pipe” tubogas motif and the double logo, B.Zero1 immediately became the new classic and style.

This time, Zaha Hadid – a star of architectural design – gives a brand new look of the B.Zero1, which is named the B.Zero1 Design Legend. Zaha Hadid is one of the greatest female architects of our time, and her Pritzker Architecture and Sterling Prize winning visionary has been dubbed as the “Queen of the Curve“ because of her breakthrough designs for landmark structures such as the Guangzhou Opera House and the Vienna University Library and Learning Center. Her signature curves are integrated into the latest design of B.Zero1. Different from the previous models, the central body of the jewelry pieces has changed into lively golden waves instead of the original looping bands, which exemplifies fluidity and create the feeling of movement.

  • PAM 685 and PAM 687

In the late 1930s, Panerai made several Radiomir watches with a special 12-sided bezel, engraved with the words “OFFICINE PANERAI – BREVETTATO” which means Panerai Workshop – Patented, and it refers to the patented luminous substance Radiomir used on the dial and it suggests that “the watches were not used for military operations but for presenting to the authorities of the Royal Italian Navy, which was evaluating new instruments for underwater missions.”

This year, two new special editions of the Officine Panerai Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio debuted at SIHH 2017. It is the first time Panerai reproduce all the fundamental characteristics of the original watches. The two versions of limited edition Radiomir 3 Days Acciaio (Ref. PAM 687 and PAM 685) has a 47mm polished steel case. PAM 687 has a brown “tropical” dial with luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers, while PAM 685 has black dial with all the same features as PAM 687. Both of the watches has the inherited 12-sided bezel from the precedent models. The Panerai in-house P.3000 calibre offers hand-wound mechanical movement with 72 hours power reserve. The ecru contrast stitching strap matches with the colors of the dial and adds more vintage feeling to the watch. Both of PAM 687 and PAM 685 are limited to 1000 pieces each.
