IWC Schaffhausen Watches and Wonders
IWC SCHAFFHAUSEN — WATCHES AND WONDERS 2026
Engineered for extremes. From Earth to orbit, IWC defines the next era of precision watchmaking.
Engineering Beyond Boundaries
At Watches and Wonders 2026, IWC Schaffhausen moves decisively forward, introducing timepieces built not only for precision on Earth, but for performance beyond it. This year’s releases combine advanced materials, re-engineered complications, and a clear focus on functional innovation.
From orbital timekeeping to next-generation perpetual calendars, each piece reflects a singular idea — engineering must evolve with the environments it serves.
Built for Spaceflight
The first mechanical watch engineered specifically for human space travel and microgravity conditions.
New Perpetual Architecture
Forward and backward calendar adjustments through a single crown, enabled by a patented gear system.
Ceralume® Innovation
A fully luminous ceramic case introduces a new dimension of visibility and material engineering.
Heritage Reimagined
Iconic collections evolve with new complications, materials, and refined ergonomics.
PILOT’S VENTURER — VERTICAL DRIVE
A new category of watchmaking. Engineered from the ground up for spaceflight, the Pilot’s Venturer Vertical Drive is designed to function reliably in microgravity.
Tested in partnership with Vast and certified for flight to Haven-1, the world’s first commercial space station, this piece represents a shift from adapting watches for space to designing them specifically for it.
PERPETUAL CALENDAR PROSET
A fundamental rethinking of one of watchmaking’s most complex complications. The Perpetual Calendar ProSet introduces full forward and backward adjustability through a single crown position.
Built on an entirely new gear-driven architecture and protected by five patents, the system transforms calendar setting into a precise, intuitive interaction.
PILOT’S WATCH — LE PETIT PRINCE
Marking 90 years of Pilot’s Watches, IWC continues its collaboration inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s literary legacy.
Defined by deep blue sunburst dials and subtle design details, these releases balance storytelling with precision engineering, reinforcing their place as enduring icons within the collection.
INGENIEUR — NEW COMPLICATIONS
Fifty years after Gérald Genta’s original design, the Ingenieur evolves with new technical executions. This year introduces the first tourbillon within the collection, alongside a perpetual calendar model crafted in grade 5 titanium.
Enhanced ergonomics and elevated finishing bring a sharper, more architectural presence to the wrist.
BIG PILOT’S WATCH PERPETUAL CALENDAR — CERALUME®
A material breakthrough. Ceralume® combines ceramic durability with full luminous capability, allowing the entire case to emit a uniform glow in low light conditions.
Developed by IWC’s XPL division, this innovation builds on four decades of ceramic expertise, introducing a new level of functionality and visual impact.
From the cockpit to orbit. Precision engineered for every environment.
