Introduced in 1929, Jaeger-LeCoultre's Calibre 101 remains the world's smallest mechanical movement. Its extraordinary dimensions opened new possibilities for women's watchmaking, allowing mechanical timekeeping to become increasingly integrated into the language of High Jewellery.
An achievement measured in millimeters.
The manually wound Calibre 101 measures only 14 mm long, 4.8 mm wide and 3.4 mm thick. Within its miniature architecture are 98 individual components.
Its significance lies not only in its dimensions, but in the creative freedom those dimensions provide.

Across generations, the same miniature calibre has enabled Jaeger-LeCoultre to create remarkably different expressions of jewellery and timekeeping.
Classic Symmetry
The 101 Reine represents one of the more traditional expressions of Calibre 101, placing its miniature dial at the center of a refined High Jewellery composition.
Art Deco Geometry
The 101 Bangle takes a more architectural approach, combining sweeping geometry with an extensively diamond-set bracelet while allowing the mechanical movement to remain almost invisible within the design.
A Floral Expression
Inspired by the snowdrop flowers of the Vallée de Joux, this expression surrounds the dial with a floral arrangement of gemstones, transforming the watch into an articulated High Jewellery bracelet.
Time Beneath the Surface
The Feuille explores another possibility enabled by Calibre 101: concealing the time display entirely. Beneath its leaf-shaped cover, a discreet dial appears only when the wearer chooses to reveal it.
