Master Control Chronomètre

Five references, three models, every one of them COSC-certified and sealed under JLC's new High Precision Guarantee.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Chronomètre collection

Every watch in this release passes through two separate certifications before it leaves the manufacture. The first is COSC chronometer testing, the industry's standard for movement accuracy. The second is new: JLC's own High Precision Guarantee, a three-day cycle run on the complete cased watch rather than the movement alone, reproducing two weekdays and a weekend day across different wrist positions, pressures, temperatures and shocks.

Three models sit under that same standard — the Date, the Date Power Reserve, and the Perpetual Calendar — with the two simpler models offered in both steel and 18K pink gold. All five share a family look: sunray-brushed dials, Dauphine hands, integrated tapered bracelets, and Côtes de Genève finishing visible through a sapphire caseback.

Master Control Chronomètre Date, stainless steel

Master Control Chronomètre Date

The entry point into the collection, and the most compact of the five: a 38mm case at 8.4mm thick, water-resistant to 5 bar. A three-row integrated bracelet in matching metal carries polished V-shaped bevels that echo the geometry of the Dauphine hands and trapezoidal hour markers.

Inside is the manufacture Calibre 899 — automatic, 70-hour power reserve, 32 jewels, visible through the sapphire caseback alongside an openworked 22K pink-gold oscillating weight.

Master Control Chronomètre Date Power Reserve, stainless steel

Master Control Chronomètre Date Power Reserve

The only reference in this release offered in a single metal, and the one carrying JLC's newest movement. Instead of a conventional date window, the dial uses a pointer date — date à aiguille — paired with a second subdial tracking the movement's remaining power reserve, both finished in azuré against an opaline outer ring.

The case grows slightly to accommodate it: 39mm, 9.2mm thick. Inside is the new manufacture Calibre 738, built specifically for this reference — automatic, 70-hour power reserve, 39 jewels, 241 components.

Master Control Chronomètre Perpetual Calendar, stainless steel

Master Control Chronomètre Perpetual Calendar

The most complicated of the five, housed in a case only 9.2mm thick despite the movement inside. Four subdials lay out the full perpetual calendar: month and year at 12 o'clock, day at 3, moon phase at 6, date at 9 — all synchronized and adjustable together through a single corrector on the case side.

Built correctly, a perpetual calendar shouldn't need a manual correction until the year 2100. The manufacture Calibre 868 drives it: automatic, 70-hour reserve, 46 jewels, 332 components — the steel version pairs it with a hammered platinum-leaf moon, the pink gold with hammered gold.
