Omega Speedmaster 38
The New Speedmaster 38 mm
OMEGA updates the Speedmaster 38 mm with seven new references, revised proportions and details drawn more closely from the Moonwatch, while retaining the compact dimensions that distinguish the collection.

A Smaller Speedmaster, Reconsidered
The latest Speedmaster 38 mm retains the collection's compact case size while bringing its design closer to the visual language of the Moonwatch. OMEGA has reshaped the subdials, simplified the dial text, revised the bezel and introduced a new five-link bracelet. Across seven references, those changes are paired with a broader selection of dial colours, metals and finishes.

Inspired by the Moonwatch
Round subdials replace the oval counters of the previous design, giving the dial a more traditional Speedmaster arrangement. OMEGA has also reduced the amount of text on the dial for a cleaner overall layout.
The bezel returns to a thicker profile and incorporates the familiar Dot-Over-Ninety detail associated with the Moonwatch's tachymeter scale.

The Black Dial
Of the seven new references, the black-dial model has the strongest visual connection to the Moonwatch. Its black aluminium bezel is paired with a matt-finished black varnished dial, while white Super-LumiNova fills the hands and hour markers. It is also the only watch in the new collection without a date display.
Refinement in Steel
Three stainless steel references introduce distinctly different treatments of the updated design: traditional black, lacquered white and a warmer silvery configuration.

DiscoverSteel Meets Gold
Two bi-colour references combine stainless steel with OMEGA's proprietary 18K Moonshine™ Gold or 18K Sedna™ Gold, introducing warmer tones without changing the 38 mm format.
Silvery Opaline Dial
Stainless steel is combined with a polished 18K Moonshine™ Gold bezel and bracelet details. A green aluminium bezel ring surrounds the silvery opaline dial.

Ivory Dial
The ivory main dial is contrasted by brown subdials, while an 18K Sedna™ Gold bezel surrounds a brown aluminium bezel ring. Sedna™ Gold also appears in the smaller bracelet links.
DiscoverCrafted for Brilliance
Two references introduce diamond-set bezels to the updated collection. Each bezel carries 52 diamonds with a combined weight of 1.53 carats.
The watches are offered with either an ice-blue PVD dial or white mother-of-pearl dial. Both use rhodium-plated hands and baton indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova.

Behind the Caseback
The Speedmaster 38 mm is finished with a screw-in caseback stamped with OMEGA’s signature Seahorse medallion, maintaining a detail closely associated with the Speedmaster collection.
Beneath it, the new models are powered by one of two self-winding OMEGA Co-Axial calibres. The six references with a date display use Calibre 3330, while the black-dial, no-date model is fitted exclusively with Calibre 3332.
Both movements incorporate a column-wheel chronograph, Co-Axial escapement and Si14 silicon balance spring.
Self-winding OMEGA Co-Axial chronograph movement used in the six Speedmaster 38 mm references equipped with a date display.
Self-winding OMEGA Co-Axial chronograph movement reserved for the black-dial reference, the only new model without a date display.
Seven New Expressions
The new references retain the Speedmaster 38 mm's compact dimensions while revising many of the details around them. Round subdials, Moonwatch-influenced bezels, a redesigned bracelet and seven distinct combinations of colour and material give the collection a more direct connection to the wider Speedmaster family.
