Smile for the new Aquis Chronograph

Following the release of the new Aquis Date collection comes the new Aquis Chronograph with a ‘smiley face’, that is, with sub-counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The new chronograph shares its focus with the new Aquis Date collection, and features the same obsessive attention to detail and the same catalogue of ergonomic, aesthetic and performance refinements. The case and bezel have a lighter profile, the bracelet has been more finely tapered, and the dial detailing has been reworked for improved legibility. All this while maintaining the Aquis’s familiar silhouette and authority as a high-performance everyday toolwatch: still in place are a screw-down crown with protection, a uni-directional rotating bezel with a ceramic insert, lumed detailing, a transparent case back, and water resistance to 30 bar (300 metres). Backing these is a Swiss Made automatic, Oris Calibre 771, which features a stop-second device for accurate time-setting and a 62-hour power reserve. For added elegance, the gradient blue dial echoes the sun’s rays bursting through water. Combined, these details make the new Aquis Chronograph a modern versatile mechanical wristwatch, created for today’s world citizen to be a constant companion, come day or night, rain or shine.
