TUDOR is turning up the buzz on its Black Bay Chronograph with the new Black Bay Chrono 39, a vibrant addition to the brand’s Daring Watches collection. With its punchy yellow-and-black dial, newly proportioned 39mm case, and slimmer 13.1mm thickness, this latest release delivers a more compact, wearable take on the chronograph while making no effort to blend in. Sitting alongside the “Pink” and “Flamingo Blue” models, it’s a fresh expression of TUDOR’s daring side.

Beneath the bold exterior is serious watchmaking substance. The watch is powered by the Manufacture Chronograph Calibre MT5813, a column-wheel automatic movement with vertical clutch construction and a 70-hour power reserve. TUDOR has also refined several design details, including updated Snowflake hands for improved readability on the sub-dials, newly patterned pushers, and a three-link bracelet with smooth-sided links that gives the watch a clean, modern finish.

Though the Black Bay Chrono 39 introduces a more unconventional color story, it still reflects the DNA of the Black Bay Chrono collection. TUDOR’s chronograph heritage reaches back to the Oysterdate of 1970, while its dive watch expertise dates to 1954. The Black Bay Chrono continues to bridge those legacies—combining motorsport influence, robust construction, and contemporary design in a way that feels both grounded in history and unmistakably current.
