El Primero Without the Chronograph
Since 1969, El Primero has been closely associated with the high-frequency chronograph. The CHRONOMASTER Solo Sport takes a different approach. It removes the chronograph display while preserving the 5 Hz cadence at the core of El Primero, bringing that technical identity into a simpler three-hand format.
Three Hands. Pure El Primero.
The Solo Sport brings the CHRONOMASTER collection into three-hand territory for the first time. Hours, minutes and a central seconds hand replace the familiar chronograph counters, placing greater emphasis on the movement's high-frequency rhythm.
A 40 mm stainless steel case and ceramic unidirectional bezel give the watch a sporty architectural profile without pushing it exclusively into tool-watch territory.

The Cadence Behind the Collection
The El Primero 3620 operates at 36,000 vibrations per hour, or 5 Hz. That frequency has defined El Primero since its introduction and remains central to the Solo Sport even without a chronograph display.
The 45° Z Motif
The ceramic dial introduces a repeating Z-shaped motif set at 45 degrees. Developed specifically for the Solo Sport, the pattern translates the movement's mechanical rhythm into the surface of the dial.
A segmented “shark tooth” minute track draws from historical ZENITH references, while the same geometric language appears on the counterweight of the central seconds hand.
One High-Frequency Language
White, black and brown ceramic dials interpret the same graphic architecture in different ways, joined by a streamlined black no-date reference.

The black no-date reference takes the collection's simplified concept one step further. Removing the date leaves the 45° Z motif uninterrupted and places even more emphasis on the central seconds hand and high-frequency identity of the El Primero 3620.
Sporting Construction, Compact Proportions
The Solo Sport balances a 40 mm stainless steel case with a ceramic unidirectional bezel, screw-down crown and crown protectors, creating a versatile sports-watch architecture with substantial water resistance.
High Frequency at the Core
Derived from the El Primero 3600 chronograph calibre, the automatic El Primero 3620 retains the 5 Hz frequency while adapting the architecture to hours, minutes and central seconds.
The movement incorporates a silicon escapement, stop-seconds mechanism and bidirectional winding system. A newly developed star-shaped openworked rotor provides a distinctive view through the transparent caseback.
A Precise Fit, Without Tools
The three-link steel bracelet is secured by ZENITH's ZENCLASP™ folding clasp. Its integrated micro-adjustment system allows the bracelet to be resized directly on the wrist without tools.
