Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Enamel Turner
Jaeger-LeCoultre brings the work of J.M.W. Turner to the Reverso with a collection of four Reverso Tribute Enamel timepieces inspired by the artist’s views of Venice. Each watch pairs a hand-guilloché Grand Feu enamel dial with a miniature enamel reproduction of a Turner painting on the reverse of the case.
Created by the artisans of the Manufacture’s Métiers Rares™ atelier, each miniature painting requires 80 hours of work across a surface of approximately 2 cm². Layers of enamel, repeated firings and delicate silver paillons recreate Turner’s characteristic treatment of light, water and atmospheric depth.
The four interpretations are housed in 18k white gold Reverso cases and powered by the manually wound Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 822, bringing together watchmaking, guilloché and miniature enamel painting within the Reverso’s distinctive reversible form.
